Our Process

Our team of experts will speak with you to evaluate the unique needs of your operation and identify your microorganisms of concern. Together, we will craft your "wish list" of targets.

Some projects involve a significant logistics and infrastructure component, requiring eyes and hands on the ground. In those cases, we will fly to you, wherever you may be, and we will not leave until we figure it out.

TAAG becomes an extension of your R&D department. Mila comes to life, designing the optimal multiplex PCR assay for the detection of your desired targets in a single reaction. We have unwavering confidence in our results, which is why this development will be offered at no charge. You do not pay until you are satisfied with the final product.

...actually, a lot of tests. Mila hasn't been wrong yet. But when it comes to the success of our partners, we leave nothing to chance. Our human scientists run extensive wet lab experiments to confirm sensitivity, specificity, and matrix compatibility for all assays.

In parallel, we guide you through the implementation phase. This can take one of three forms:
- Your customized solution can be offered as a laboratory service in our ISO 17025-compliant laboratory in St. Charles, Illinois. This option is ideal if you do not have the space and personnel to operate your own laboratory, or if your sample volumes are too low to justify the expense.
- if you currently have a laboratory inside your facility, we can help fill any gaps in training, procedures, or equipments. TAAG will reliably supply you with all required consumables and reagents to effectively execute the PCR workflow.
- TAAG can build a compact laboratory on your premises to implement your customized PCR program. This laboratory will operate under TAAG, with all training and paperwork handled samples to a third-party lab is impractical, such as testing fresh produce for agricultural operations in remote locales.
